Sync jobs with Apple Calendar

Last updated 5 May 2026

Subscribe to your MyTradePlatform job feed so all your appointments appear automatically in Apple Calendar.

Subscribe to your personal MyTradePlatform feed and every job you schedule will appear in Apple Calendar on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac — with no manual entry.

Before you start

You will need:

  • A MyTradePlatform account with at least one scheduled job
  • Your personal calendar feed URL — find it in Settings → Calendar Sync and tap Copy link
  • An iPhone, iPad, or Mac signed in to iCloud (so the subscription syncs across all your Apple devices)

The feed is read-only and tied to your account. Keep the link private — anyone with the URL can see your scheduled jobs.

Steps

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Scroll down and tap Calendar
  3. Tap Accounts (or Calendar Accounts on older iOS versions)
  4. Tap Add AccountOther
  5. Tap Add Subscribed Calendar
  6. Paste your MyTradePlatform feed URL into the Server field and tap Next
  7. Leave the description as-is (or rename it "MyTradePlatform"), then tap Save

On Mac

  1. Open the Calendar app
  2. From the menu bar, choose File → New Calendar Subscription
  3. Paste your MyTradePlatform feed URL and click Subscribe
  4. Choose iCloud as the location (so it syncs to your iPhone and iPad), set auto-refresh to Every hour, and click OK

What you'll see

Your scheduled jobs appear as calendar events within a few minutes of subscribing. Each event includes the job title, the client, and the property address. Apple Calendar refreshes the feed automatically every few hours — newly added or rescheduled jobs will sync in the background without any action from you.

Troubleshooting

My jobs aren't showing up. Double-check the feed URL is pasted exactly as copied, with no leading or trailing spaces. Wait 10–15 minutes after first subscribing — Apple's first sync is not always immediate. If the calendar appears but is empty, confirm you have at least one job scheduled in MyTradePlatform.

How often does the calendar refresh? Apple Calendar refreshes subscribed calendars every few hours by default. On Mac you can set this to as often as every 5 minutes via Calendar → Settings → Accounts → Refresh Calendars. On iOS the system controls the refresh interval and can't be set manually, but pulling down on the calendar list forces an immediate refresh.

How do I remove the subscription? On iPhone, go to Settings → Calendar → Accounts, tap Subscribed Calendars, select the MyTradePlatform feed, and tap Delete Account. On Mac, right-click the calendar in the sidebar of the Calendar app and choose Unsubscribe.
